Chapter 01 — Newer innovations requires New Worlds
I’m an AIESECer now, and that’s incredible.
My name is Éverson Filipe.
I am a Computer Science student, a Product Manager, and a passionate advocate for innovation and intercultural collaboration.
Born and raised in Pernambuco, Brazil, I have always been fascinated by how technology and global perspectives can solve local challenges.
From optimizing governance with AI to designing products that bridge gaps in everyday life, I have dedicated myself to building solutions that create meaningful impact.

Interculturality, for me, is more than just an exchange of ideas — it is the key to understanding, improving, and reshaping the world.
As I delve deeper into this interconnected reality, I see how learning from different perspectives fosters creativity, innovation, and real change.
This is why I joined AIESEC.
To explore global collaboration. Develop leadership. And contribute to a purpose-driven network that goes beyond borders.
AIESEC is not just an organization — it is a movement.
Founded in 1948, it has grown into one of the largest youth-led organizations in the world, present in over 120 countries.
With a mission to develop leadership through cross-cultural experiences and professional opportunities, AIESEC empowers young people to take action and drive positive change.

In Brazil, AIESEC plays a crucial role in shaping future leaders by connecting them to impactful experiences worldwide.
Among its many branches, AIESEC in Curitiba stands out as a dynamic and forward-thinking hub, fostering initiatives that align with the organization’s core values: leadership, integrity, diversity, and sustainability.
While each local chapter has its unique identity and strengths, they are all interwoven into a vast, collaborative network that transcends borders.
This global interconnectivity is what makes AIESEC truly special — the ability to engage with a worldwide community while creating localized impact.
Before officially stepping into AIESEC, I took a proactive approach to understanding its culture, mission, and the real impact it had on its members.
I connected with numerous former AIESECers on LinkedIn, collecting feedback and insights on their experiences.
My goal was to identify the best practices and strategies that would allow me to contribute effectively and create a chain of value within the organization.
Through these conversations. I gained a deeper understanding of AIESEC’s structure, its challenges, and the immense opportunities it provided.
As a result of my active engagement. I was recognized and invited for an interview with AIESEC in Curitiba.
This marked a significant milestone in my journey.
My interviewer was Dan, a remarkable individual whose passion for technology and social impact resonated deeply with me.
Our conversation, though brief, was rich in shared perspectives. We connected on multiple levels, especially in the realms of tech innovation and the continuous pursuit of value creation through social initiatives.
It became evident that AIESEC was not just about leadership development — it was about building meaningful collaborations that drive change.
As I delve deeper into my role as International Relations Manager of OGT within AIESEC, I have identified several key similarities between my previous experiences as a Product Manager and the organizational structure of AIESEC.
Both roles demand a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of stakeholders, and the ability to iterate on processes based on feedback and data-driven insights.
In Product Management. One must constantly align user needs with business goals while fostering collaboration across teams.
Likewise, AIESEC thrives on aligning personal leadership development with global impact.
The emphasis on agility, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication is evident in both domains.
By integrating methodologies from my product background — such as lean strategies, user research, and iterative improvements — I see opportunities to enhance AIESEC’s operational efficiency and value creation.
This connection is not just beneficial to me; it presents a framework for how AIESEC members can adopt a product-oriented mindset to optimize their own projects.
Understanding the needs of partners, iterating on exchange programs, and ensuring that every participant gains a transformative experience are principles that mirror the product development lifecycle.
y leveraging this synergy, I aim to contribute not only to my personal growth but also to the continuous evolution of AIESEC as an organization.
My first month will be filled with excitement, learning, and the beginning of countless opportunities.
But this is just the start!
In the upcoming sections, I will share my experiences, challenges, and key takeaways from my first steps as an AIESECer.
Stay tuned for the next chapter of this incredible journey.
